The main aim is to develop a robust system for the detection of bacterial and virus diseases in seed potatoes. We work on better algorithms to make the detection possible in different potato varieties. Besides focusing on specific for different PVY viruses (primary/secondary) we will also work on bacterial infections (3 types of Erwinia). Kverneland together with AgroIntelli are the lead private partners for this.
The main 3 topics are:
- develop a better tool for data acquisition of seed potato plants with the possibility to do immediate annotation (on the spot).
- Data acquisition for both bacterial diseases and viruses to feed a deep learning system (more varieties)
- Data analysis consisting of training and testing of a deep learning algorithm.
